CCC EAP Statewide Convening on the New Common Core State Standards, the Latest EAP Research Outcomes, & High School-College Partnership Strategies (May 7-8, 2012 ) The Chancellor’s Office for California Community Colleges, with generous support from the Walter S. Johnson Foundation, is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for you to attend a free statewide convening of EAP partnerships to learn about changes in the K-12 standards and assessments, the latest California State University and California Community College EAP research outcomes, and effective practices in high school-college curriculum alignment, academic interventions, and partnership building.
Targeted Audience: All College-HS EAP Partnerships and key stakeholders (CCC, CSU and high school administrators, faculty, and other interested parties), estimated 3-5 participants per partnership

All travel costs will be reimbursed and attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Dr. David Conley’s recent book, College and Career Ready: Helping All Students Succeed Beyond High School. Free 2-day workshops sponsored by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, the CSU Chancellor's Office and Educational Testing Service (ETS, the STAR test administrator) to provide foundational training on the Early Assessment Program was held on June 20th and 21st (College of the Canyons) and June 27th and 28th (Los Rios District Office).
