MHS List servs

There are a variety of organizations that provide information, resources, and updates on mental health issues. The following are a few that you can join to receive email updates about student mental health issues and other related areas.

The Mental Health and Wellness Association (MHWA) of the California Community Colleges.  Please visit MHWA’s homepage via the link above for information on how to become a member and subscribe to their list serve.

Health Services Association of California Community Colleges (HSACCC).This list serve is restricted to members of the HSACCC. For information on how to become a member, and subscribe to their list serve, please visit their homepage by clicking on the link above.

Chancellor’s Office – CCC Mental Health This list serve is intended to serve as a forum for exchange of information between community colleges and others interested in the mental health issues that impact students, the colleges, and California communities.

The list serve is created and maintained by the High Tech Center Training Unit of the California Community Colleges (HTCTU). The HTCTU provides leadership, training, and support to the California Community Colleges in using technology to promote the success of students with disabilities.

Anyone can join through by following the instructions on the HTCTU Web site. Directions to subscribe are as follows:

1. Go to the HTCTU web page www.htctu.net

2. Under HTCTU Resources, click on HTCTU Listserves

3. Click on “all forums” to the left. You will see cccmh listed or follow this link directly to that section http://htclistserv.htctu.fhda.edu/read/all_forums/?forum=&sb=1

4. In the right column, click the “Subscribe” link.

5. Complete the dialog box, then click the “Subscribe” button.

6. The list will send you an e-mail that you will have to respond to in order to be confirmed on the list.

The Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission (MHSOAC) sends out regular updates on meetings, reports, and other activities related to the MHSA. For information about how to subscribe, Please email your list serve request to mhsoac@mhsoac.ca.gov with "Subscribe" in the subject line. Include your name and the email address you would like the updates sent to.
