ZTC Technical Assistance

The Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) Degree program is one of the Open Educational Resources (OER) initiatives to improve teaching, learning, and accessibility for all learners at California Higher Education institutions.  The ZTC Technical Assistance Providers (TAP) have Open Education Resources experience that will assist ZTC grantees to successfully plan, implement, and sustain the greatest number of program pathways of zero textbook cost courses (major and general education) that fulfill an associate degree or a career technical education certificate.  Technical assistance includes, but is not limited to, research, professional development, meetings, coordination, and other resources or activities that are required to organize the components for adapting, creating, and sustaining zero textbook cost program pathways.

CCCCO Professional Learning Network

Senate Bill 826 (Leno, 2016) established the Online Clearinghouse launched as the CCCCO Professional Learning Network. This bill required the Zero Textbook Cost grantees to post their open educational resources and zero textbook cost programs on the CCCCOPLN.

All ZTC grantees will utilize their unique college link to google docs to upload their curriculum materials.  Below are examples of the google doc forms.
